Applesauce Cinnamon Ornaments

Basic Recipe for Applesauce-Cinnamon Ornaments

16 ounces applesauce
9 ounces ground cinnamon (may need more or less)
Cinnamon oil (just a few drops)

Drain the applesauce overnight in a strainer lined with paper towels or a coffee filter. Put the applesauce in a bowl and mix in the ground cinnamon until you have a pliable mixture. You want a mixture that will print well.
Add a few drops of cinnamon oil to get a really nice aroma. Follow the general printing directions. You may want to use cinnamon to dust your dough before printing. Air dry or bake in oven at lowest temperature until dry.
Remember to make a hole for hanging if your ornaments will need one.
