Loraine Seegert Molds

"My mother, Marianne LaFournier, received the molds when her mother-in-law, Loraine Seegert, passed in 1997.
My mother worked full time until she turned 70. She is now 83. She never had the time to bake.
I have also always worked and have just retired 4 years ago.
My grandmother received these from her mother-in-law who got them from her own mother.
My grandmother used them only at Christmas when she made the Springerle.
My mother is about 90% sure that they brought this with them when they came from Germany. As far as anyone knows, it has always been in the family.
The family name was Seegert"

I would like to thank Lyn Zaehler for allowing me to post this photo and short story on my site. This set belonged to her Grandmother and looks to have been well cared for and treasured.
